The location of the lodge is great, with popular attractions only a short drive away. the surrounding area is quiet and perfect for a peaceful getaway. the cottage itself is comfortable and tidy, with the bedrooms and bathrooms being well-maintained. the staff at the lodge are friendly and welcoming, ensuring a pleasant stay.

Access to the lodge can be challenging with mobility impairments, due to a steep and twisty road leading to the property.

Great location for exploring the Forest of Dean. Privacy, but also the option to socialize at the attached pub. Helpful and friendly owners and staff. Comfortable and neat accommodation with a path leading to your own front door.

Felt safe and secure, no complaints.
